2022 Community Impact Report
2022 was a year that stretched our capabilities to a breaking point. With Crimson House locations operating in 4 locations spanning two nations, our Collective was stretched thin - an untenable state of operations that corroded the culture of our organization, unduly burdening our Collective members to a point of exhaustion and burnout.
As the clock struck midnight to chime in the year 2023, Crimson House closed its doors and vacated its location in Louisiana. This effectively kicked off Mike’s year of living on the streets and improvising the means to return up north to his home state of Ohio.

2021 Community Impact Report
2021 was a year of promise and a rebirth. As we around the world awoke in a post-pandemic era, it became clear that the time for a new normal is due. Never let a crisis go to waste. We pushed ourselves to gaze above the doom and gloom that seemed inevitably darker and darker.

2020 Community Impact Report
This past year was a period marked by upheaving change and uncertainty. During the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns in 2020, the Queer community suddenly lost many of the communal spaces that we relied upon for community, support, and connection.

2019 Community Impact Report
This was a year of connection and newfound purpose. We were pleased to co-host two successful educational seminars with the Columbus chapter of the Institute of Electrical Electronics Engineers (IEEE), illustrating to the public how the power grid is changing, what drivers are shaping this change, and how the shift towards a renewables-based electrical grid will change the way we consume and utilize energy.
